Places To Visit

Rustington
It’s a few minutes’ drive or 8 to 10 minutes walk into Rustington. The high street has a good number of independent shops (including butchers, greengrocers and bakers) as well as cafes and restaurants. Nearby supermarkets include Sainsbury, Aldi, Waitrose and Tesco. A walk along the seafront from the house will bring you to beachfront cafes or coffee stands.
Littlehampton
Just along the seafront, Littlehampton has a number of attractions, including Crazy Golf, Pitch and Putt, Miniature Railway, Tennis Courts, Kitesurf and Paddleboard Lessons and Hire, Amusement Park, The Wave Leisure Centre with indoor pool, gym and classes, the Marina with riverside walks and boat trips and a number of pubs and cafes. A good place to find traditional fish and chips!
Arundel
15 minutes’ drive away, historic Arundel boasts a castle, a cathedral, independent shops, art galleries, cafes and restaurants, river walks and the Wetland Centre. The annual Arundel Festival each summer has a great variety of activities, concerts and events.
Brighton
Brighton offers many options for a day out. Visit the Royal Pavilion (the seaside palace of the Prince Regent, George IV) or the Sea-Life Aquarium, stroll along the Pier, take in Brighton’s historic centre of The Lanes – a maze of independent shops and boutiques – enjoy a drink overlooking Brighton Marina, check out the theatres and nightlife, plus there are no end of festivals all year round. Not to mention the beach!
Chichester
The cathedral city of Chichester is 17 miles from Rustington and its centre offers a mix of high street shopping and designer boutiques. Chichester Festival Theatre has an international reputation – worth checking what’s on.
Goodwood
Around a half hour drive away, Goodwood events need no introduction to horse-racing or motorsport fans.
Portsmouth
Portsmouth can be reached in around an hour by car and Portsmouth Historical Dockyard, which includes the Mary Rose and HMS Victory, is a good day out.
